I’m getting closer and closer to finishing Shadows, Book 1. With only a handful of chapters left, Shadows 1 already rests at 67,408 words.
Book 2 has stalled somewhat. I’m figuring out how much of Book 1 to include for a smooth story flow. The initial chapters of Book 2 take place before the events of Book 1. I plan to incorporate the events from Book 1 before I continue with the story line of Book 2.
Shadows book 1 will without a doubt be completed and released in 2026. I’M hoping sometime in the spring, but it all depends on how fast I can write these last few chapters. Plus, I still need to find an editor.
For Shadows book 2, I’m aiming for the release to be near the end of 2026.
In the meantime, I’ve been experimenting with ideas for the book cover of Shadows, Book 1. I think I’ve finally settled on a base idea for the image and can start looking for an artist.
