Emery Katarina Wuulfsun, a queer non-binary writer, creates poetry, queer romances with magical creatures, and horror stories. Their first publication was their series The Dark Poetry Anthologies; however, they have written countless stories that were never published. When they’re not writing, they often hike trails, read books, or watch horror movies and crime documentaries. Though they were born and raised in Maryland, they intend to travel the world.

Answer: Emery began their author journey before they came out as non-binary. Having already published several books under the pen name Katarina, they decided it was easier to keep publishing under the same name. If Emery is ever encountered in the wild, please address them as Emery or Wuulfsun instead of Katarina. However, they will respond to either name regardless. Their pronouns are they/them.
