GHOST

I feel like a ghost,
I have no hope,
Maybe I’m toast,
It’s like I’m not even alive,
As if I’m dead,
Yet wandering inside,
I haunt the halls,
For eternity and grace,
I’m in no race,
To be alive,
All I am is dying inside,
I have no crypt,
As I wander aimlessly,
I try to help others,
With simply being,
But I can’t take my own advice,
In fact, I run and hide,
But I guess being a ghost is alright,
Nothing matters,
No matter what I do,
I’ve fucked up my life,
And so will you,
You’ll find the bottle or the blade,
Thinking it will make you happy some day,
And I wish I could,
Tell you it will be alright,
But I’m dead inside,
The nights are dark,
As I lurk around,
I might be a ghost,
But I’ll still find ground,
To stand on,
Because if I don’t, who will?
I’ll haunt you forever,
To prove what you’ll miss,
Some people are just carcasses,
Breathing but dead,
With no end in sight,
I guess we are all,
Just ghosts in the night,
My thoughts haunt me,
More than my body does,
I’m scarred in every way that is true,
But I’ll be the ghost that will love you.
