I finally finished writing chapter 10 of Shadows Book 2. The chapter became so large that I had to split it into two. So far, book 2 is just over 50,000 words and still growing.
However, the main reason I wanted to update was to talk about book 3. I’ve been researching names for the new characters that our Shadows Crew will meet.
Names have always been the most challenging aspect for me when writing a story. The name needs to have some significance or at least sound “right”. It took me hours, but I feel like I’ve finalized most of the names now. (You wouldn’t believe how many websites I visited to find these names lol). After compiling a list, I narrowed it down to a few options I think will work.
I’m still working on the backstory. All I know so far is that the villain will be a serial killer. The Shadows Crew will meet the ghosts of the victims.
There was another reason I wanted to mention names…
I now have a working title for book 3!
