It’s December 25, 2025, and I have a gift for you.
After weeks of editing, Shadows Book 1: Where The Shadows Lie… THE NOVEL IS OFFICIALLY DONE! This project has rested at a beautiful 78,719 words. The only main remaining task is the daunting job of getting KDP to format the file correctly. In the meantime, I’m busy creating posts with promotional quotes that will be released starting on the day the book goes live on Amazon. Once these quotes start going out, they’ll be posted twice daily for several months until I run out of my favorites. So far, I have 187 quotes to tease. With everything in place, I believe that Where The Shadows Lie will be hitting the shelves quite soon! The cover is already 90% complete. The fonts for the cover and the document have been chosen, so most of this time is spent preparing the quotes. The quicker I get through them, the sooner I can tackle the KDP formatting.
Oh, and before I forget, at the end of the novel, you’ll get a chance to read several outtakes from the writing process!
