Kai froze temporarily before he lifted Liam’s chin so that he could stare into Liam’s eyes before asking worriedly, “You’re not just saying that because of the sex, are you?”
Liam was quiet for a long moment as he stared into Kai’s eyes before shaking his head and saying more confidently, “I love you, Kai.”
Kai gnawed on his bottom lip as he searched Liam’s eyes, but all he could see was honesty shining brightly through Liam’s blue orbs. He watched as the honesty faded to worry, and at first, Kai was confused until he realized he still hadn’t said anything back.
“I love you too. I have for a long time.” Kai admitted before leaning up and gently kissing Liam.
